Focusing on the Essential

Hey friends. This'll be quick. I will be taking a break from the blog during the winter to focus on completing the reader's companion to my book, Life After Infertility. This companion book will serve as a small group study and guide for women struggling with infertility and pregnancy loss.

As a Hope Writer, I recently had the privilege of listening to a Tuesday Teaching which featured Greg McKeown, author of Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less (highly recommend!). As a result, I've been seeking God's counsel on how to move forward with the ministry of Real Life, Real Faith by whittling down my mission to brass tacks. I will always have a heart for women struggling with infertility. At the same time, God has charged me with encouraging women wrestling with God at various stages of life. Women who are facing illness, loss, broken relationships, and doubt. Women who are questioning God's goodness because they're lost in the haze of hardship.

I will be using this time of writing and reflection to clarify how I can serve you, my readers, more impactfully. I hope you'll spend some time this winter considering where your purpose and passions intersect, then plugging into a body of Christ to serve a world in desperate need of his love and grace.
